Staten Island, NY - Wagner dropped a 6-1 decision to Monmouth on Senior Day at the Wagner Tennis Courts. Freshman Julie Teichman (Plymouth Meeting, PA / Germantown Academy) led the way for the Seahawks, posting a 7-6 (5), 6-1 win over Sarah Turner at No. 6 singles.

The match marked the final home appearance for seniors Sabrina DiLeo (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy) and Julie Jebran (Bethlehem, PA / Bethlehem Catholic).

MU claimed the doubles' point by sweeping all three matches before winning five of the six singles' points en route to improving to 2-11 and 2-4 in the Northeast Conference (NEC) while the Green & White fall to 1-12 and 1-3 in the league.

Wagner returns to action with a match at Rider on Thursday, April 5 at 2:00 pm.
