Staten Island, NY - Wagner swept all three doubles matches en route to capturing the first point of the match and never looked back en route to posting a 5-2 victory over Rider at the Wagner Tennis Courts. With the win, the Seahawks improve to 2-1 while moving over .500 for the first time since September 21, 2007.

Jenna Harris (Fountain Hills, AZ / Fountain Hills) doubled up Cynthia Vlad and Kim Leder 8-4 at second flight doubles. Senior
Nikki Arnold (Bethlehem, PA / Liberty) and sophomore
Julia Teichman (Plymouth Meeting, PA / Germantown Academy) then capped the sweep, cruising to an easy 8-2 win against Leonora Paul and Jaclyn Giameo at No. 3 doubles.
During singles action Vukov, Harris, Teichman and Hauer were all victorious in securing the second Green & White win of the year.
At No. 2, Vukov battled from a first set loss to post her first collegiate victory via scores of 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-1 against Caravaglio. Harris then recorded her second-straight win against Leder at No. 4 in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. At the five spot, Teichman moved to a perfect 3-0 on the year with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Hauer capped the impressive Wagner performance, while also moving to 2-1 on the year, with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Giameo.
