SCENE-SETTER
The Seahawks return to the comfortable confines of Wagner College Stadium for the first time in three weeks to host the redshot Albany Great Danes on Homecoming Day. Wagner (1-6, 1-3 NEC) is looking to snap a six-game losing streak but it won't be an easy task vs. a Great Dane club that, since opening the season 0-2, has run off five straight wins in improving to 5-2. The most recent notch on Albany's' belt was an impressive 63-35 vanquishing of Central Connecticut St. on the road last week.

ABOUT WAGNER
Offensively, Wagner is paced by dynamic sophomore running back Dominique Williams who enters the game T-14th in the nation in rushing at 107.4 yards per game. After sitting out the October 8 game vs. Georgetown due to injury, junior quarterback Nick Doscher was back behind center at Duquesne last week. The veteran signal-caller, who had started 25 straight games prior to missing the contest with the Hoyas, completed 9-of-21 passes for 154 yards vs. the Dukes. The highlight of his day was a 62-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Wandy Saintilien. On the defensive side, junior linebacker C.O. Prime and senior safety Jeremiah Brown are the team leaders in tackles with 52 apiece, followed by junior linebacker Mike Lombardo and sophomore safety Patrick O'Connor who have 50 and 46 stops, respectively. Redshirt freshman cornerback Jarrett Dieudonne the NEC Rookie of the Week following a stellar game vs. Georgetown (10/8) is fifth in tackles with 40, second on the team in pass breakups (5), tied for fi rst in forced fumbles (3) and has one interception.

ABOUT ALBANY
UAlbany (5-2, 4-0 NEC) remained perfect in Northeast Conference play by handing Central Connecticut St. (2-6, 1-4) its fi fth consecutive loss last week. Great Dane senior quarterback and reigning NEC Offensive Player of the Week Dan Di Lella threw a school-record fi ve touchdown passes and ran for another score for the Great Danes who led 35-21 at halftime. Albany exploded for 21 unanswered points following the intermission. Di Lella threw for a career-high 283 yards on 14-of-22 passing and added 75 yards on the ground. The 63 points scored are Albany's most ever against an NEC opponent. Entering today's play, the Great Danes occupy the driver's seat in the race for the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA FCS playoffs. Albany leads the NEC in offense and defense. The Danes, who racked up 573 yards of total offense in the win, rank fourth in scoring (37.6 ppg) and ninth in total offense (448.9 ypg) among the Division I FCS national leaders. UA also continues to lead the NEC in pass offense (246.6 ypg) and passing touchdowns (19).

THE SERIES WITH ALBANY
This is the 15th all-time meeting between the schools and the Great Danes own a 13-1 advantage over Wagner and have won the last 10 meetings. The lone Seahawk victory in the series came on September 23, 2000 by a 38-30 score in the Capital city. Last season, Albany used a big second-half performance en route to a 24-14 home win on Nov. 13, 2010.
