FINAL RESULTS
Fairfield, CT - Sophomore
Alexis Bivona (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) won her first collegiate championship at the 5K Father O'Neil Invitational with a mark of 19:15 while holding off Maureen Crimmins (19:19) from Fairfield. For Bivona, her mark was also a 38-second improvement from a year ago on the same course.
The Stags won the team tilte with 20 points with the Seahawks scoring 44 points and finishing second. The University of New Haven (91 points) and the University of Bridgeport (96 points) rounded out the four-team field.
Sophomore
Samantha Lauro (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) was the next Seahawk to finish, crossing the line in seventh place with a time of 20:03.
The member of the Green & White to finish was sophomore
Cameo Kirk (Ocean Port, NJ / Shore Regional), who clocked a 20:31 in taking 11th.
Freshman
Heather Wolf (Pine Brook, NJ / Montville Township) was not far behind, finishing 14th in 20:47 with junior
Taylor Fredrickson (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) rounding the scorers in 19th (21:14).
Wagner returns to action on Friday, October 21 at 4:00 pm when the Green & White compete at the CCSU Mini-Meet.
