Wagner held a 33-29 halftime lead behind Murray who matched his career high in the first half alone with 15 points. In the opening half, there were nine lead changes and the score was tied five times.

Chris Martin (Sicklerville, NJ/Apex Academies) who was out with a twisted ankle, Wagner built a 52-39 lead with 13:45 left in the game as Mundweiler capped a 19-8 run to open the second half. FDU methodically mounted its comeback, led by guard Sean Baptiste, who capped a 25-8 run with a layup with 2:51 to play that put the Knights up 65-63, giving the Knights their first lead since the first half. Baptiste led FDU with a game-high 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field. Guard Terence Grier had 18 points for the Knights while center Alvin Mofunanya controlled the paint with 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Senior guard
Doug Elwell (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) played a solid floor game for the Seahawks with 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal. Mundweiler was 6-of-11 from three-point range for the Seahawks, both career highs. Junior guard #T.J. Czeski# (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) added six points and four assists off the bench.
FDU out-shot Wagner 48 percent to 41 percent and, led by Mofunanya, held a commanding 39-27 edge in the rebounding department and outscored Wagner in the paint, 24-14.
Wagner is next in action on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7:00 pm when the Seahawks travel to West Long Branch, NJ to meet the Monmouth Hawks.
