Wagner Women Compete in NCAA Northeast Regional Championships

Wagner College's women's cross country team ran three student-athletes at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships held at Hammonassett State Park in Madison, CT.

Sophomore Taylor Fredrickson (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) finished first for the Seahawks in a time of 24:10 while recording 208th place. This marks the fourth time this season that Fredrickson has led the pace for Wagner. Sophomore Kelly Dennis (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) finished second for the Green and White in 222nd place with a time of 24:44 as classmate sophomore Dominique Serpe (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy) clocked in at 26:04 for 242nd place.

Syracuse took top honors at the 6K race with a score of 78 as Quinnipiac finished as the top NEC team in 20th place with a score of 536.  Wagner did not record a team score.
