COMPLETE RESULTS
Albany, NY – The Wagner College Women's Cross Country team finished thirteenth out of 22 teams represented at the 44th Annual UAlbany Cross Country Invitational.
Freshman
Alexis Bivona (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) turned out another impressive performance at the 5K-race, registering a career-best time of 19:22 while finishing 45th out of 177 runners and collecting her second top finish for the Seahawks this season.
Sophomore
Taylor Fredrickson (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) was the second member of the Green & White to cross the finish line, finishing in 20:01 for an 80th-place finish. Finishing third for the Green and White for the third time this season was freshman
Samantha Lauro (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa), who ran a 20:15 in taking 89th. Sophomore
Kelly Dennis (Staten Island, NY / St. John Villa) was 100th in a time of 20:31 while
Dominique Serpe (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy) rounded out the scorers for Wagner, finishing 110th in a time of 20:45.
Wagner finished thirteenth overall with a total of 381 points. The University of New Hampshire captured top honors with a total of 29 points.
The Seahawks will be back in action on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britian, CT.
