Wagner Finishes 10th in NEC Women’s Golf Championship

The Wagner College women's golf team competed in the three-day 2009 Northeast Conference (NEC) Women's Golf Championship last weekend held at Hershey Links Golf Course. Wagner finished in 10th-place overall, recording rounds of 376-367-358 (1101). 

Junior Allison Amador (Middle Island, NY / Longwood) paced the Seahawks by finishing in 21st-place with rounds of 83-84-80 (247). Sophomore Caitlin Etienne (Richfield, MN / Richfield) took 30th overall with a 256 (89-80-87) while rookie Kaitlin Osmundsen (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) shot a 279 (97-93-89) for the 42nd spot. Rounding out the pack in 48th-place was sophomore Tracey McManus (Colonia, NJ / Wardlaw-Hartridge), who recorded scores of 107-110-102 (319). 

Overall, Fairleigh Dickinson paced the field in first place, shooting a three round total of 920. Long Island University garnered second-place, recording a 943, followed by Sacred Heart University in third-place with a 945. 

This competition concluded the spring season for the Wagner College women's golf team.
