West Windsor, NJ - No. 9 Wagner defeated No. 10 St. Francis (NY) 4-0 in the consolation round of the Northeast Conference (NEC) Tennis Championships. The Seahawks conclude the year with a 3-14 record while the Terriers fall to 0-13.

The Seahawks captured the doubles' point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3. Senior Emily Boyd (Stratham, NH / Exeter Area) and sophomore Joanna Ciavarella (Brooklyn, NY / Fontbone Academy) defeated Shakaya Slay and Angel Lawrence 8-1 at No. 2 doubles while freshman Britta Olsen (Hallowell, ME / Hall-Dale) and freshman Svetlana Chirokikh (Rochester, NY / Brighton) blanked Shimiere Douglas and Ashley Del Orbe 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

During singles play, Wagner won all three completed matches. Olsen shut out Slay 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. LeCureux dominated Lawrence at No. 4 singles by a 6-2, 6-1 count. At No. 6 singles, Ciavarella collected her sixth win of the year, 6-0, 6-0 over Douglas.

Senior Brittany Frazza (West Caldwell, NJ / Morris Catholic) was up 6-2 when the match ended and concludes her career with 28 singles' wins.
