Poughkeepsie, NY – The Wagner College Women's Water Polo team split two exhibition games with Dollard Des Ormeaux (DDO) Water Polo A and B squads in the first day of the Red Fox Invitational at Marist College. The Seahawks dropped their morning contest to DDO-A, 12-11, before rebounding with an impressive 17-7 in game two against DDO-B.
This sets the stage for tomorrow's double-header against No. 15 Hartwick College at 10:20 AM and a rematch against Brown University at 4:10 PM. The Hartwick Hawks enter tomorrow's contest winners of nine straight. Their 10-6 overall record comes with notable victories over No. 15 Cal-Bakersfield and No. 14 Michigan. The Hawks scored 18 goals twice in opening around action of today's Red Fox Invitational. Their two wins came over Siena, 18-6, and Iona, 18-11.
Wagner's afternoon game is a rematch the ECAC Tournament Semifinals – pitting the Seahawks against the Brown University Bears. In their previous match up the Bears eliminated Wagner, 9-6, on their way to claiming the tournament crown over host, Marist College. Senior #
