Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College men's basketball team is set to play in the 2009 HOOPTV Las Vegas Classic Dec. 17-23. 

The field of eight teams for the tournament includes Nevada, BYU, Tulsa, Nebraska, Jackson State, Chicago State and Eastern Washington. Each team will play four games, the first two at campus sites, and the final two at the Orleans Arena on Dec. 22-23. 


The Seahawks will take on BYU on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 9:00 pm EST. and Nevada on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 10:05 EST. 

The final two games will be played at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday-Wednesday, Dec. 22-23.
Wagner will take on Jackson St. at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and either Eastern Washington or Chicago St. on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at either 3:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. EST.
