Fredrickson Impresses at Central Connecticut State University 5K Mini Meet

Freshman Taylor Fredrickson led the Seahawks with a 11:21.24 finish

New Britain, CT –
Freshman Taylor Fredrickson (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville) finished first for the fifth consecutive time at the Central Connecticut State University 3K Mini Meet at Stanley Quarter Park on Saturday. Fredrickson's team best finish of 11:21.24 was good for 33rd place.

Senior Jenna Naglieri (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) and freshman Kelly Dennis (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) had the team's second and third best finishes respectively. Naglieri finished 42nd with a time of 11:36.44, while Dennis was not far behind in 43rd place at 11:37.70.

Senior Nicole Panik (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) and freshman Dominique Serpe (Staten Island, NY/Notre Dame Academy) rounded out Wagner's scoring with 59th and 65th place finishes.

The women finished in tenth place with a score of 242. Quinnipiac University finished first with 32 total points.

Wagner returns to action on October 31st when they are scheduled to compete in the Northeast Conference Championships at NEC Championship in Connecticut.
