Bronx, NY – Seniors
Brecken Drager (Loomis, CA/Del Oro) and
Ryan Rogers (Islip, NY/Islip) along with graduate student
Samantha Snukis (St. Clair, PA/Nativity BVM) close out their Wagner College cross country careers with their final 5K run at the 2008 ECAC/IC4A Championships.
Drager lead the course for the Seahawks with a 18:58 time, good for eighth place. Snukis was the next Green & White competitor to cross the finish line with a time of 20:13 for 82nd. Rogers, who has been plagued with injuries throughout her entire career, found the strength to take complete the course in 22:25.
Freshman
Kaela Townsend (Los Gatos, CA/Los Gatos) put together her best collegiate performance with a 21:11 performance while junior
Jenna Naglieri (Stony Point, NY/North Rockland) took 146th in 21:50. Closing out the Seahawk times was junior
Nicole Panik (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) who finished the course in 22:59.
The Green & White finished in 18th place out of a field of 23 with an average team time of 21:32.00.
