Scott Butterworth

Scott Butterworth is in his first season at Wagner as the director of operations for the men's basketball team.

Butterworth comes to Wagner after working for Paradigm Partners in Nashua, NH, the last two years as a senior director. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at St. Benedict’s Prep for four seasons from 2006-2010 under former Seahawk head coach Dan Hurley.

During his time with the Gray Bees, Butterworth directed and coordinated team travel, scouting and alumni relations while helping St. Benedict’s to a National Top-10 ranking in all four of his seasons on the bench.

Additionally, Butterworth served as a basketball coach for the Hoop Group, Five Star and Hoop Mountain in the summers during his collegiate years at Colby-Sawyer College.

Butterworth, who graduated from Colby-Sawyer in 2006 with a bachelor of science degree in exercise and sports science with a focus in Sports Management, will be pursuing his master’s degree in education.
