Casey Martin begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Seahawks and works primarily with the team’s offense.
A 2008 graduate of Fairfield University, Martin arrived at Wagner after coaching in Manchester, England, where he worked as a local development officer, teaching young players the basics of the game. Martin also led a team of eight coaches that fostered the growth of the sport in the greater Manchester area.
Prior to his stint across the pond, Martin served as a head coach for Unparalleled Lacrosse in Westport, Connecticut where he was responsible for training children ages 10-14. He also developed and implemented strategies that aided Unparalelled Lacrosse become competitive at the high school level.
A scholastic standout at Fayetteville-Manlius High School in Central New York, Martin was a three-year letterwinner, scoring 49 goals and adding 27 assists in his senior year alone. Martin was also named to the OHSL American Division First-Team, and All-Central New York Second-Team. Before coming to Grymes Hill, Martin went back to his high school alma mater and worked as an assistant coach, mainly handling the attack and man-up offense.
