 Junior Nick Mascelli (Clifton, NJ / Seton Hall Prep) of the baseball team has been named the Walsh Electric Men's Student-Athletes of the Month for March. In 15 games during the month, Mascelli went a robust .452 (28-62) at the plate with three home runs, 11 RBIs, and two doubles.The Garden State native powered Wagner to a four-game sweep at Mount St. Mary's in which the veteran shortstop batted .667 (12-for-18) with three walks, seven RBIs, and nine runs scored.  He slugged 1.278 for the series with five of his 12 hits going for extra bases.  Mascelli was locked in during the series' opening game when the third-year Seahawk went a career-best 5-for-6 with a pair of home runs to spearhead a 20-4 triumph on March 24. The following day, he went deep again as part of a 3-for-5 performance in game one of the doubleheader, leading the Seahawks to a 17-4 win. In the nightcap, Mascelli led off the contest with a double and eventually came around to score Wagner's first run in a 14-6 win.  He was also responsible for both runs in the series finale (3/26), a 2-0 shutout, en route to earning NEC Player of the Week (3/28) honors.
