A transfer from Southeastern Louisiana, Sagwal made an immediate impact for the Seahawks, posting a perfect 7-0 singles record in the month of September. Sagwal captured the “B” flight title at the Hofstra Invitational, defeating Colgate’s Cheyenne Brown (8-5) in the quarterfinals, Colgate’s Nicole Szcezch (6-4, 5-7, 10-6) in the semis and Hofstra’s Sarah Herndon (6-2, 6-1) in the final. She has posted a 4-0 dual match record with two of those wins coming in #4 flight play. Sagwal is also 4-0 at #1 doubles this fall teaming with Marina Rull Valvieso.
