Sophomore goalkeeper #Katie Marcy# (Bellmore, NY / John F. Kennedy) has been named the Wagner College Female Athlete of the Month after backstopping the Seahawks women’s soccer team to 3-2-1 record in the month of September. The second-year keeper recorded shutouts in all three of the team’s wins in September, amassing a league-leading five on the season. Despite a 5-0 setback at Rider on September 11, Marcy tallied a career-high 12 save performance against the Broncs. Heading into October, Marcy is second in the Northeast Conference in save percentage with a .850.
