Jordyn Peck is the Wagner College Walsh Electrical Contracting Women’s Student-Athlete of the Month for December. In six games, the crafty 5-6, left-handed-shooting guard averaged a team-high 14.2 points, highlighted by a 24-point outing at Rutgers (12/12) and a 20-point performance vs. Eastern Michigan (12/21),the latter coming in the first round of the Seawolves Holiday Classic hosted by Stony Brook University. Against a deep, athletic and talented Rutgers squad, Peck shot 7-of-16 from the floor and was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. In addition to her 20 points scored vs. Eastern Michigan, Peck added one assist and one block in a route-going performance that saw her play all 40 minutes. Peck had two other double-digit scoring games in December, tallying 17 vs. ACC member Pittsburgh (12/7) and 10 at Stony Brook (12/22). Through games of December 30, Peck was the 4th-ranked scorer in the NEC at 16.5 points per game, while also ranking third in the conference in three-point field goals made at 2.45 per game.
