Katie Marcy (Bellmore, NY / John F. Kennedy) was a force in the net during August, helping the Seahawks to two wins, while allowing only two goals in two games. The junior allowed one goal in a 3-1 season opening win over Saint Peter's, and then had seven saves while allowing one goal in a 2-1 win over Fairfield. Marcy's efforts were good enough to earn NEC Defensive Player of the Week, as teammates Amanda Buck and Siera Kolpon helped Wagner sweep the NEC weekly awards.
