Senior Tiffany Dawson (Staten Island, NY / Curtis)
Dawson turned in stellar performances in both of Wagner’s December meets, showcasing her talents at the Third annual MAC Classic held at Monmouth University’s Multipurpose Athletic Center in West Long Branch, NJ on December 3 and at the Brother Jasper Invitational held at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY on December 10. In the Monmouth meet, the local product clinched the top spot in both the 60-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 9.08 in the finals after recording a 9.25 in the seeding round. Dawson also copped top honors in the triple jump with a leap of 10.96 meters after recording a leap of 12.13 meters in the seeding round.  Dawson, a transfer from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, also placed third in the triple jump at 5.17 meters after first jumping 5.65 meters in the seeding round. One week later at Manhattan College Draddy Gymnasium, set the women off strong as the senior locked in first place finishes in the both the triple jump (11.01 meters) after posting a round 12.13 in the seeding round, and the 60-meter hurdles (9.23) after registering a time of 9.11 in the preliminary round. Â
