Sam Andrews joined the Wagner College Sports Performance Department in January 2025.
Before arriving on Grymes Hill, Andrews served as a Strength and Conditioning Assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In this role, he contributed to the implementation of strength and conditioning programs, facilitated daily activation and warm-up routines, and collected performance data from athletes.
Andrews also worked at Ole Miss as an Administrative Strength and Conditioning Coach. While with the Rebels, he supported the football team by gathering athlete data and coaching during lifting sessions. Additionally, he developed comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports.
At the University of Kansas, Andrews held the position of Administrative Strength and Conditioning Coach. His responsibilities included implementing training programs and utilizing advanced technologies such as Catapult, Run Rocket, and 1080 Sprint to enhance athlete performance.
A native of Huxley, Iowa, Andrews earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Dordt University in December 2023. During his time at Dordt, he was named to the 2023 GPAC All-Conference Defensive Line and also served as the Head Strength Coach for the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
