Griffen Schimmel joined the Wagner College Athletics staff as the Ticketing Director in August 2025 where he is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. In his role, Griffen is responsible for managing ticket sales operations for all Wagner athletic events.Â
His duties include developing sales strategies, preparing financial reports, and administering ticketing software. He also oversees event operations and game day transactions, supervises student workers, and provides hospitality services to premium clientele. Additionally, he plays a key role in fundraising, corporate sponsorships, and enhancing the fan experience.Â
Griffen graduated from Bryant University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Services, concentrating in Economics. As a member of the swim and dive team, Griffen swam the 500 yard freestyle, 1650 yard freestyle, and the 400 yard individual medley. Griffen played a key role during his four years on the team, winning the NEC Championship his freshman year while also receiving the Kelly Hill Leadership award.
His previous work experience includes roles as a member of the Cunningham & Associates M&A team, where he oversaw due diligence and sale of major businesses across the United States. Griffen also worked at Bryant University's Archway Fund, where he managed a 3 million dollar portfolio of individual stocks and ETFs. Griffen was also Vice President of the Bryant University’s Hilel Program run by Rabbi Steven Jablow, where he coordinated and led the university's Jewish life programs and extracurriculars. Griffen also sat in Bryant University's Senior Advisory Council, where he was a key member of the President & leadership boards decision making committee for anything pertaining to Bryant University. Griffen was the recipient of the 2025 Jack H. Rubens Leadership in Financial Services award at his graduation. Â
