Gabriela Garza

Gabriela Garza joined the Wagner College Sports Medicine Department in July 2026.

Garza arrived on Grymes Hill following two years as a graduate assistant at Plymouth State University, where she earned a Master of Science in Post-Professional Athletic Training while serving as the primary athletic trainer for the women's soccer and men's wrestling teams, as well as overseeing rehabilitation services.

During her time in New Hampshire, Garza also worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Granite State Physical Therapy Clinic, providing athletic training services for the junior men's ice hockey team.

Garza graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Movement Science. While in Austin, she worked as an athletic training student, collaborating with certified athletic trainers for men's and women's swimming & diving, football, softball, men's and women's tennis, and local high schools.

Prior to attending Texas, Garza graduated from South Texas College in 2020 with an Associate of Science in Biology through the Dual Enrollment Medical Science Academy.
