Donovin Jones joined Wagner College in August 2025 as a Graduate Assistant in Student-Athlete Support Services while pursuing his MBA in Finance.
At Wagner, Jones supports the academic and personal development of student-athletes by coordinating study hall, monitoring academic progress, providing tutoring referrals and assisting with career development and life-skills programming.
Jones earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, while also playing NCAA Division II men’s lacrosse. During his undergraduate experience, he served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, including a term on the executive board, and completed a marketing internship with the Sisco Symposium, where he launched the event’s first-ever Instagram page to boost campus engagement.
Outside of academics, Jones has built extensive experience as a freelance sports photographer, covering tournaments, games, and events across the country. His work includes coverage of NCAA and USCAA national competitions as well as assignments for schools and conferences such as Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Fairfield University, Ferris State University, Bentley University, Duquesne University, D’Youville University, the South Atlantic Conference, and the East Coast Conference.
Originally from Florida, Jones combines his background as a student-athlete with his freelance creative experience to bring a unique perspective to his role at Wagner.
