Dawson Hebert is in his third year with the Wagner College Athletics Media Department.
No stranger to New York City, Hebert was a ‘football video assistant’ with the Columbia University Lions during their 2022 season. Hebert was able to travel with the team, shoot practice and game footage, and create highlight reels for players, recruits, and followers to watch across all social media platforms.
Prior to Columbia, Hebert was a student manager for the Marist College Red Foxes football team during their 2020 and 2021 seasons. There, Hebert’s roles included shooting raw footage of practices and games, intercutting practice footage, creating lift sheets during the off-season, and assisting in recruiting student-athletes.
Hebert completed his undergraduate at Marist College with a degree in Business Administration with minor in Communications.
As a graduate assistant, Hebert was be responsible for production and editing of athletic marketing publications, writing press releases, updating and maintaining the Wagner athletic website, and assisting with gameday operations. Also during his tenure, Hebert was the immediate contact for the men's and women's water polo, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track & field, men's and women's tennis, and women's bowling programs. While a GA, Hebert covered the 2024 Wagner Seahawks Women's Water Polo team that would go 30-5, win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown, and defeat Biola in the Opening Round of the NCAA Championships by a score of 15-14.
Upon graduation, Hebert was named the Associate Director of Media Relations for Athletics, and will serve as the immediate contact for the Seahawks' field hockey, women's and men's lacrosse, and women's basketball programs.
Born in Caribou, ME, Hebert earned his MBA with a concentration in Management from Wagner College in May 2024.
Currently, Dawson resides in Queens with his girlfriend, Marina, and their cat, Lucifier.
