Wagner College Athletics

Daniel Scally joined Wagner as Assistant Athletic Director for Academic and Student-Athlete Support Services in July of 2024.

At Wagner, Scally spearheads the academic professional development experience for more than 650 student-athletes, which includes course registration, study hall, missing class notices, tutorial support, eligibility monitoring and certification, internship placements and career development, end-of-semester grade reports, and resume workshops. Scally also oversees the Seahawks' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 

No stranger to Wagner College, Scally arrived at Wagner in 2023 as a Marketing Director graduate assistant. 
 
Scally completed his undergraduate from St. John’s University in May of 2023 with a degree in Sport Management. While at St. John's University, Scally worked in the athletic department as a marketing intern and a student-athlete tutor.

Scally earned his MBA with a concentration in Management in May 2025.
 
Born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Scally has run his own tutoring business for a few years.
