Wagner College Athletics

Callie Stanford joined the Wagner College Athletics Media Relations Department in January 2025 as a Media Relations Graduate Assistant. She serves as the primary contact for baseball, M/W Track & Field, M/W Cross Country and M/W Golf teams.

Prior to starting at Wagner, Stanford spent eight months in 2024 with the Savannah Bananas as a media relations intern, working with media outlets across the country on the team’s Banana Ball World Tour. While in Savannah, Stanford graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in animal sciences.

During her time at Auburn, Stanford worked for The Auburn Plainsman, 247Sports and The Opelika-Auburn News to provide in-depth coverage of university and high school sports. She covered a variety of elite athletes as well as SEC and NCAA events, from March Madness and SEC Media Days to NCAA Baseball Regionals and Suni Lee’s Olympic gold medal.
