Anett Ferenczi-Bako

Anett Ferenczi-Bako was named head coach of the Wagner College women's tennis program, Director of Athletics Walt Hameline announced on August 28. 
 
Before arriving at Wagner, Ferenczi-Bako was a four-year member of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) tennis program, where she helped lead the Rebels to the 2013 Mountain West Conference Championship. 
 
Posting over forty singles wins during her athletic career at UNLV, Ferenczi-Bako was a four-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete, Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and UNLV Dean's Honor List selection and served as a three-year member of the UNLV Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
 
Ferenczi-Bako has spent time as a tennis pro assistant at Himmelheber Tennis in Las Vegas, NV, where she provides tennis lessons for guests at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. She also spent time at Sportime in East Hampton, NY, where she was the camp organizer and coached individuals of various age groups and ability levels.
 
Before enrolling at UNLV, Ferenczi-Bako, she was a two-time runner up in singles competition at the 2010 & 2011 Hungarian Championships after claiming 2009 U18 singles title.
 
In playing in several ITF tournaments, she claimed the 2008 British Columbia Nationals U16 single and doubles titles as well as being named a four-year member of the National Team Women's "Super League."
 
Ferenczi-Bako is entering her second year at Wagner while pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and spent last season working with the Wagner College Athletic Department administration as the Coordinator of Business and Finance.
