Freshman Season (2022-23): Posted three individual victories and two additional relay victories... Placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.12) and 200-yard individual medley (2:10.72) at the LIU meet, which earned her NEC Rookie of the Week honors (2/8)... Placed first at the NEC Championship as a part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team and the 400-yard freestyle relay team... Individually, she came in fifth place in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.13) at the event.

Before Wagner: Member of National Honor Society at Cumberland Valley High School... Named PA High School State Triathlon Champion... 2022 Female Nominee for Brunner-Pierce Award.... High school record holder in several events, including the 200-medley relay, 400-freestyle relay, and 100 Fly, a 25-year standing record... All-State Swimming Honorable Mention and two-year swimming varsity letter holder, leading the Eagles to both the 2020 and 2021 District and State Championships... First swimmer in her high school history to be a Top 10 Record holder in all (8) Individual Events... Two-year Varsity Letter holder in Track & Field, CVMS track & field record holder in 800-meter, 4 x 800 relay, and the distance medley record... 4-year member of the Academic Honor Roll. Staretz plans to study pre-med at Wagner, specializing in nutrition.... Father played D-1 football.... Has two siblings that play football and lacrosse, Bryce and Trey.
