Laura De Gore is entering her second year as the assistant swimming coach for the Seahawks. De Gore joins Wagner after graduating from Southern Connecticut State University in 2011 where she earned her degree in History.
A three-year member of the Owls swim team, De Gore received scholar athlete and academic All-American honors.
De Gore has coached 50-person teams in Long Island, as well as maintained a position at the Hamden, CT, YMCA as the Head Age Group Swim Coach. In the summer of 2010, De Gore took on a counselor role at the University of Southern California swim camp, where she worked alongside Olympic head coach Dave Salo.
