Shannon Horgan, a standout midfielder & forward at Clemson, completed her first season as assistant coach of the Wagner College women's soccer program in 2020-21.
During the span of her career for the Tigers (2014-17) she appeared in 81 games tallying 11 goals and 18 assists. Horgan was a crucial member on the Clemson 2016 ACC Regular Season Championship squad, serving as a team captain and finished tied for second on the team in points. Horgan had a standout freshmen campaign that earned her All ACC Freshmen honors as well as the Newcomer of the Year award for CUWS. In addition to her accomplishments with the Tigers she competed on the Team USA U-19, U-20, and U-23 teams highlighted by the U-20’s World Cup Qualifier Championship.

In addition to her prolific collegiate playing career, Horgan has worked as a personal skills development trainer for ages 6-15 and competed professional in Sweden and most recently for the North Carolina Courage of the National Women’s Soccer League.

At Wagner, Horgan will assist Casella in all aspects of the program.
