Kyle Duggan enters his second season as an Assistant Track & Field Coach.
A 2012 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Sociology, Duggan competed in the pole vault for the Huskies, setting the school record in the event at 5.21 meters outdoor, and 5.20 meters indoor. Duggan was an IC4A qualifier in each of his final three years at Connecticut, along with being a member of three Big East Championship teams, four New England Championship teams, while being named team captain twice.
Since February of 2012, Duggan has worked as a CrossFit Trainer at Ultimate Impact Training on Staten Island. At Ultimate Impact Training, Duggan monitored and planned the daily workouts for groups of up to 20, which include Olympic lifts, speed and agility, as well as aerobic workouts.
A Staten Island native, Duggan has participated in multiple volunteer opportunities on the island. Duggan has helped with “Where to Turn Inc.” a local non-profit that provides needed services to senior citizens. Along with this, he is also a volunteer umpire and member of the grounds keeping crew at the Staten Island Little League.
Along with his duties with the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams, Duggan will be working towards his Master’s in Education.
