Emunael Mpanduki

Emunael Mpanduki enters his fourth season as an Assistant Coach for both the men's & women's track & field programs.

During his tenure at Wagner, Mpanduki has had 15 different conference medalists to go along with eight all-conference performers, which includes a sweep of the all-rookie awards during the indoor season for sprint events.

Additionally, 11 Wagner school records have been set during his watch, which led to 15 IC4A/ECAC qualifiers and the eventual IC4A and NCAA Regional Qualifier in the 100m dash.

Mpanduki also served as the recruiting coordinator that brought in one of the largest incoming class in Wagner Track and Field history.

A 2013 graduate of Penn State University, Mpanduki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.  As a member of the Nittany Lions track and field squad, Mpanduki competed in sprints and relays. In 2011, he was a member of the 4x400 relay team that captured the Big Ten bronze medal. Also, he was a vital member of the 2013 4x200 meter team that set a NCAA indoor record.

Before arriving at Wagner, he served as a volunteer assistant on the Nittany Lions' coaching staff, where he helped develop and implement training programs for the sprints, hurdles, and relay competitors.
