Played at Monroe Township High School under head coach Pat Geroni... Viani is the third player under head coach Jim Carone to be recruited from Monroe Township, joining current senior RHP Danny Marsh and 2015 Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Year, Nick Dini... As a sophomore for the Falcons, he batted .407 with 22 hits in 54 plate appearances, scoring 15 runs while swipping 15 bases and drew 12 walks... In his junior season, he batted .379 with an on-base percentage of .429, which included 14 stolen bases and an OPS of .877... Helped lead the Falcons to the Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) Tournament title.
