Matt Tozzi was among a handful of true freshmen who saw action last season, playing in four games and contributing one special teams tackle. He has a chance to have an expanded role this season, both at fullback and on special teams.

Before Wagner: Physical two-way player who excelled at  fullback and linebacker during a standout scholastic career … Three- year varsity starter .. Gained 524 yards rushing last season, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and scoring seven touchdowns ... Recorded 96 tackles, including three sacks and four forced fumbles as a senior … Led the Spartans to three New Jersey Section 1, Group III State Semifinal  appearances …  Also a standout member of the school’s wrestling team.
