Daniel Mack is a talented, hard-hitting, aggressive safety who is expected to make a significant impact on the Seahawk secondary after playing in 33 games for ACC member Wake Forest from 2010-2012.

 2012 (at Wake Forest): Enjoyed the most productive season of his collegiate career, recording 50 tackles, highlighted by 23 solo stops while seeing action in 10 games for the Deamon Deacons …. Credited with one pass breakup and one tackle for loss … Recovered a fumble which he returned 12 yards.
 
2011 (at Wake Forest): Played in 11 games, serving as the team's primary backup at free safety ... Finished the season with 13 tackles, including seven solo and one for loss ... Member of the kickoff and punt return units ... Made five special teams tackles on the year ... Recorded four tackles at Boston College ... Two solo tackles in the regular season finale vs. Vanderbilt.
 
2010 (at Wake Forest): Played in all 12 games with seven starts ... Was the top freshman tackler on the squad with 45 on the season ... Had at least one tackle in every game ... Also a key special teams player with four special teams tackles ... Started vs. Georgia Tech and had six tackles and a pass breakup ... Made five stops vs. Navy … Picked off first career pass vs. Boston College and returned it 16 yards ... Intercepted a pass and returned it 17 yards to set up a field goal vs. Clemson ...
