Jack Klenk joined the Wagner football staff prior to the 2023 season after a successful career at FBS member Buffalo. Klenk joined the UB football team in 2016 as a walk-on before developing into a starter. In 2021, Klenk started all 12 games at offensive guard for the Bulls and was named All-MAC second team, CoSIDA Academic All-District, Academic All-MAC, and a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy. In his final season, Klenk anchored an offensive line that averaged 410 yards of total offense and 195.5 rushing yards per game.
Off the field, Klenk served as a summer camp staff member and offensive line tutor before transitioning into a coaching role due to injury, leading offensive line drills and directing film sessions for the Bulls' offensive line.
Klenk earned both a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from UB and will pursue his MBA at Wagner.Â
