Alfred "AJ" Magee joined the Wagner football staff in the spring of 2023.

Magee arrives on Grymes Hill after spending the 2022 season at Mass. Maritime, where he served in various roles. Magee oversaw the linebackers and tight ends and was later tabbed the Buccaneers' recruiting coordinator. 

Magee began his coaching career at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, N.Y. in 2016 as an assistant JV coach. He coached the wide Receivers, quarterbacks, and defensive backs while also serving as the team's special teams coordinator. 

In 2018, Magee was named head JV coach and assistant QBs coach for the varsity team. That season, Archbishop Stepinac won the NY State Catholic League Title. 

Magee is a 2021 Graduate of Manhattanville College and will pursue a Master's Degree in Business Administration during his time at Wagner.
