Biography

Senior Season (2018-2019): Served as a team captain for the Seahawks … Finalist in the 50 Free at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships, placing fifth in 23.67, setting a new personal best in the event … Earned a fourth-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:35.63), a fifth-place finish in the 400 Free Relay (3:27.47) and 400 Medley Relay in 3:53.87… 

Junior Season (2017-18): Named  Bay State Games National Athlete of the Year Award for the Female Age 19 & Older Category after fighting her way back from a serious illness.

 
Silver medalist in the 200 Free Relay and part of the 200 Medley Relay that finished fourth (1:43.47) at the NEC Championship (1:33.94) … Finished seventh in the 50 Free (23.90) … Took first place in the 50 Free against Rhode Island (25.17).

Sophomore Season (2016-17):  Represented the Dominican Republic in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games … Competed in the preliminary heats of the 50m freestyle, an event she owns the Dominican Republic national record in … Did not compete for the Seahawks as a sophomore.

Freshman Season (2015-16): Claimed fifth overall in the 50 Free at the NEC Championships (23.68)  … Part of the 200 Medley Relay team that shattered the NEC and Wagner school record at the NEC championships with a time of 1:40.52, while previously breaking the school record versus Bryant, finishing in 1:46.99, and breaking pool records versus Saint Francis U (1:46.11), at LIU Brooklyn (1:46.85) and versus CCSU (1:45.97), while finishing first in the victory over Rhode Island (1:47.62)… Notched her first two collegiate victories versus Bryant in both of her individual events, touching the wall in a 24.39 in the 50-yard freestyle, followed by a 53.11 finish in the 100-yard Free … Placed fourth as part of the 400 Free Relay at the Frank Elm Invitational with a school-record time of 3:26.48 …Took second-place honors in all three of her individual events at Northeastern, clocking in at 24.55 in the 50-yard free, 53.52 in the 100-yard free and a 59.19 in the 100-yard butterfly … … Collected a pair of third place finishes at Rutgers in the 50 free with a time of 25.05 and in the 100 free, touching the wall at 54.45.


Before Wagner: Four sport athlete at Algonquin Regional High School … Swam for Jean Fedak … Competed at the 2012 London Olympics and was the only female for the Dominican Republic … Holds five Dominican Republic Records … Competed at the 2015 Kazan World Championships, 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics, 2013 Barcelona Swimming World Championships and the 2011 Shanghai Swimming World Championships … Swam two seasons of varsity swimming where she never lost a race while leading her team to two undefeated regular seasons and two MidWach A Conference titles … NISCA All-American in the 50 & 100 Free events …MidWach League MVP in her junior and senior years … Algonquin MVP all three years … Division I State Champion in the 50 & 100 free her junior and senior year and currently holds the state meet records in both events … Sectional Champion in the 100 fly her junior and senior year … Section Champion in the 50 free her senior year … Holds seven Algonquin Regional school records in the 50, 100 and 200 free, 100 fly, 200 and 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay … Two-time Telegram and Gazette All-Star, Metrowest New All-Star and Boston Herald All-Star selection … Swam club for Evolution Aquatics ...
