Biography

Junior Season (2011-2012): Part of the second-place 200 freestyle relay team at Rutgers (11/4) … Part of the third-place 200 freestyle relay team at Columbia (1/3) … Part of the third-place 200 freestyle relay team at Central Connecticut (1/28).
Sophomore Season (2010-2011): Finished fourth among Seahawk swimmers in the 1650 freestyle event at the NEC Championships with a time of (18:27.14) ... Swam as Wagner’s lone representative in the 400 individual medley, finishing in a time of 4:48.02 in 11th place.

Freshman Season (2009-10): Finished second on the team at Mount St. Mary’s in the 400 yard freestyle with a time of 4:55.59 ... led the Seahawks at the NEC Championships in the 500 yard free (5:17.53) and the 1650 free (18:14.96) ... also competed in the 400 yard IM, swimming to a 4:48.74 time.

Before Wagner: Attended High School at Crawford in Johannesburg, South Africa … competed in the 2008 South African Course National Swimming Championships (Johannesburg, South Africa) … participated in the 2008 FINA Swimming World Cup (Durban, South Africa) … raced in the 2009 Maccabiah Games (Israel) … awarded the 2009 Maccabiah Silver Medal for her performance in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay … also earned two Bronze Medals at the games in the 4x200 meter freestyle and 4x100 meter medley relays … swam for the Mandeville Dolphins and Hapoel Jerusalem club teams … helped lead the Mandeville Dolphins to the Club Championships from 2007-2009 … a three time Honor Roll member.

Personal: Daughter of Daniel and Tamar Samuel … her father played for the Israel Institute of Technology Squash team … has a younger sister, Shirelle … plans on majoring in Pre Health.
