Freshman Season (2022-23): As a part of the 400-yard medley relay team at the NEC Championship, Strickland earned third place with a time of 3:21.29... Individually, he earned 15th place in the 100-yard freestyle (47.39) at the event.

Before Wagner: Won the Ciac Scholar-Athlete award... Was on the Honor Society... Won the Male Athlete of the Year award... Started swimming freshman year of high school.
