2023 (Graduate Season): Back-to-back NEC Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-NEC. Becomes the first player in program history to earn First Team All-NEC in three consecutive seasons. Tallied her 100th career caused turnover, finished her career second All-Time in program history with 109 caused turnovers. Also finishes fifth in program history with 145 career ground balls. The Rockville, MD native finished second in the NEC with 27 caused turnovers and 1.93 caused turnovers per game. She also finished fifth with 2.64 ground balls per game and eighth with 3.57 draw controls per game. Hannan’s ground ball and draw control totals ranked first on the Seahawks. Hannan’s ground balls per game rank 31st nationally as her caused turnovers per game totals rank 23rd in the nation.


2022 (Senior Season): Started in all 18 games, named NEC Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-NEC for the second consecutive season. Aileen was named Defensive Player of the Week the last two weeks of the regular season. Tallied 53 ground balls, caused 41 turnovers and had 19 draw controls. Tallied her 100th career ground ball against Sacred Heart on Wednesday, April 20.

2021 (Junior Season): Appeared in all 15 games, starting all but two… First Team All-NEC… second on the team in ground balls (37) and caused turnovers (27)… scooped five ground balls and caused four turnovers in season opener against Villanova (2/23)… recorded an assist, two ground balls and three caused turnovers in win over Central Connecticut (3/06)… grabbed four ground balls and forced career-high five turnovers in win over Bryant (3/13)… scooped five ground balls and caused three turnovers against Mount St. Mary’s (3/24)… posted a four-ground-ball, four-caused-turnover day in win over Saint Francis (4/24).

2020 (Sophomore Season): Started all seven games on the back line as a sophomore… finished second on the team with 11 caused turnovers, also finished fourth on the team with 15 ground balls… grabbed three ground balls and caused a turnover in season-opener against Vanderbilt (2/09)… scooped two ground balls and caused two turnovers in win over Quinnipiac (2/15)… recorded two ground balls and caused two turnovers in consecutive games against Colgate (2/29) and Siena (3/07)… ended season with three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Monmouth (3/10).

2019 (Freshman Season): Appeared in six games off the bench as a freshman… scooped a ground ball and caused a turnover in win over Presbyterian (3/24).

Before Wagner: A three-sport standout at the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, MD, where she excelled in lacrosse, soccer and basketball …. Began her lacrosse career in grade school playing for Rockville Lacrosse before taking it to the next level with the MC Elite Midnight club team... Also played point guard on the Maryland Flames national travel basketball team... daughter of Mark and Claire (Magner), a 1989 Wagner graduate who served as co-captain of the both the 1989 NEC champion women’s basketball team, as well as the Green & White softball team... has one brother, Conor.
