2021 (Senior Season):
Started all 34 contests while scoring 48 goals on 108 shots. Leighton dished out 36 assists while recording 84 points. Claimed 101 sprints won this season.

2019 (Junior Season): 
Did not compete.

2018 (Sophomore Season): 
Saw action in all 32 games, starting 29 of them… Recorded 33 goals on 97 shots and added 31 assists… Broke his own single season record for sprints won, improving from 48 in 2017 to 71 in 2018… Defensively, he added 20 steals, 22 blocks, and drew six exclusions… ACWPC All-Academic Team member.

2017 (Freshman Season):
Started and saw action in 23 games… Set a single-season record for sprints won with 48… Scored 42 goals on 94 shots… Dished out 31 assists and grabbed 26 steals as a rookie… Drew eight exclusions and totaled nine field blocks… ACWPC All-Academic Team member

Before Wagner: 2017 graduated of El Toro High School where he played three years of varsity water polo … A left handed shooter who was an Academic All-American from 2015 to 2017 … Also a decorated swimmer as a four-year member of the Chargers swim team where he holds the 200-yard freestyle record for both El Toro and the South Coast Conference … Alongside his brother in 2016, the duo earned High School All-American status in the 200-yard freestyle relay … Additionally  a two-time individual High School All-American in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events … Son of Angela Leighton … Younger brother of sophomore driver Aaron.
