Biography

(Spring) 2021: Appeared in both games… intercepted a pass, recorded a pass breakup, and registered 0.5 tackle for loss in opener against Duquesne (3/14).

2019: Named Preseason All-NEC by the Northeast Conference for 2020 ... Named Third Team Preseason All-NEC (2020) by Phil Steele …  Started in all 12 games as a Junior during the 2019 campaign … After a breakout season in 2019, Lyons is expected to be a leader in the secondary for the Seahawks in 2020 ... The senior finished his first season on Grymes Hill with 40 tackles, two pass breakups, and two interceptions in the secondary, but was also asked to step into a multi-purpose role late in the season ... Playing in all three phases of the game, Lyons returned 12 kickoffs for 247 yards, gained 51 yards out of the backfield, caught one pass for four yards in the season-finale against Bryant, and threw a touchdown pass on a trick play at Saint Francis U.

Before Wagner:  Top cover corner out of the Tar Heel State ... Standout two-way player at North Edgecombe HS before attending ASA ... During his senior season, amassed 60 tackles and two fumble recoveries for the Warriors ... Rushed for 1,305 yards and scored 11 touchdowns as a tailback as well
