Wagner College Athletics

Graduate Season (2022-23): Finished in fifth place with the sabre team at the NIWFA Championships... Selected as an alternate for the Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals... Picked up a 3-0 victory against Army at the FDU Invitational.

Senior Season (2021-22): Earned a 40.0 winning percentage in 80 bouts. Claimed three victories in as many attempts against FDU and Army at the Drew Rangers Fall Invitational I. At the Drew Rangers Fall Invitational II & the Notre Dame DeCicco Duals, Burton claimed three victories against Florida. Burton was selected as an alternate at the Mid-Atlantic/South Region, it was her second career selection.

Sophomore Season (2019-20): Placed 28th at the Temple Open … Helped Wagner combine for a 9-0 sweep in the Epee weapon over Hunter and swept her bouts against NJIT in a close, 14-13 overall loss at the LIU Invitational … Contributed to the Seahawks’ sweep at the Brian Palestis Memorial Invitational … Helped the Seahawks earn five victories at the Philadelphia Invitational.

Freshman Season (2018-19): Placed tenth in the Epee weapon at the NIWFA Championships … Helped Wagner to a 15-12 win over Florida at the DeCicco Duals with one victory … Placed 43rd at the Temple Open in her first collegiate competition … Placed 50^that the Penn State Open … Helped Wagner to an 18-4 victory over Hunter at the Drew Holiday Invite … Gave the Seahawks a victory over CCNY at the FDU Invitational … Led the Seahawks past FDU at the LIU Post Invitational.

Before Wagner: Competed in club fencing at the Denver Fencing Center as an Epee fencer … Placed 12^th at the 2018 NAC competition, while placing 16^th at the 2017 Summer Nationals …   Also competing in the Junior Olympics and Summer Nationals in 2016 …  Born in China … Plans to major in Business Management.
