Kayla Renwick Named Wagner Triathlon Head Coach

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Kayla Renwick has been named the next head coach of the Wagner College triathlon program, Wagner Athletics announced ahead of the 2026 season.

A former student-athlete at Wagner, Renwick competed on the women's triathlon team for four seasons from 2022-26 and served as team captain during the 2025-26 season. During her collegiate career, she earned NCAA Scholar All-American recognition and was named to the Dean's List.

Renwick graduated from Wagner in May 2026 with a degree in Sports Administration and a minor in Marketing. As an undergraduate, she gained experience within Wagner Athletics as a marketing and media intern and served as a student manager with the women's basketball program.

Renwick was also active in campus leadership, serving as president of the Black Student Union and holding positions with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Beyond the Game Society. She also served as a social media ambassador for Wagner College Admissions.

Outside of her time on Grymes Hill, Renwick gained additional experience with the Barbados Olympic Association, supporting administrative operations while assisting with athlete outreach and event programming. She has also served as the organization's Sustainability Ambassador.
