STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 

Field Hockey

- Wagner hosts two games at the Field Hockey Complex this week.

- The Seahawks welcome CAA member Hofstra to Grymes Hill on Friday, Sept. 4 for a 3:00 p.m. start time. Prior to the match, the team will acknowledge Wagner College faculty for the program's annual 'Staff Appreciation' game.

- Two days later, the Green & White invite Big East member Temple to Staten Island on Sunday, Sept. 6. Game time between the Seahawks and Owls is set for 1:00 p.m. 

Football

- Wagner will host Southern Connecticut State on Saturday, Sept. 5. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on Hameline Field.

- Saturday's theme is Staten Island Appreciation Day & Blackout. Join us in recognizing the local groups, businesses, season ticket holders, and community partners that make Staten Island special. Wear black and pack the stands!

Men's Golf

- Wagner opens the 2026 season at the BC (Turning Stone) Tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 to Monday, September 7.

- The season-opening tournament is hosted at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.

- Last season, the Seahawks wrapped up day two of the NEC Championship in 11th place, posting a combined two-day score of 602.

Women's Soccer  

- Wagner continues non-conference action against NJIT on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. on Hameline Field.

- The Seahawks then travel to Baltimore, Maryland for a matchup against UMBC on Sunday, Sept. 6. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
