GREENWOOD, Ind. — Nine Seahawks were named members of the 2026 College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large team, announced by the committee on Tuesday.
Six female and three male athletes earned the distinction — women's fencing Villo Nyiri, field hockey's Romy Matthies, women's golf's Emma Shelby, women's lacrosse's Carolyne Chase, women's lacrosse's Erin Rooney, women's water polo's Magali Ogg, men's fencing's Flavio Vinci, men's lacrosse's Colin Sabia, and men's water polo's Laszlo Strasser — representing the Green & White.
Nominated by CSC members, the Academic All-District At-Large teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance both in their athletic venue and in the classroom (minimum 3.50 GPA). Each sport has different eligibility standards based on competition that can be found here.
Wagner teams that are eligible for CSC Academic All-District At-Large honors include men's and women's fencing, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's water polo, field hockey, and women's bowling.
The final round of CSC Academic All-District, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance both in their athletic venue and in the classroom in cross country/track & field will be released on Tuesday, June 23 at noon.
