STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 
 

Baseball 

- Wagner hosts NEC affiliate member Coppin State for a three-game series starting on Friday, May 8. First pitch between the Seahawks and the Eagles is set for 3 p.m. on Friday, followed by a 1 p.m. start on Saturday, and a noon start on Sunday. 

- The weekend series will be played at the CSI Baseball Complex.

Softball 

- The Seahawks have earned the No. 3 seed in the NEC Softball Tournament. The entire tournament will take place at the LIU Softball Complex in Brooklyn, NY, and will stream on ESPN+. 

- Wagner will start the tournament on Thursday, May 7, with a first-round matchup against No. 2 CCSU at 3 p.m.

- Opponents and times for the rest of the tournament will be determined after the games have been completed on Thursday.
